Rohan was born in Huddersfield and began his training at the Audrey Spencer Dance Academy and Scala Kids, in Horsforth. As a young actor Rohan was a series regular in Children’s Ward (Granada TV) and many other television productions. In 2017 he took part in ITV’s dance, Dance, Dance partnering up with Lucy Jo Hudson and presented by Alesha Dixon. As a young dancer he won the title of North England Tap Champion a number of times as well as many other accolades. He then went on to train at The Urdang Academy, London and, since graduating, has appeared in numerous theatre productions, mostly West End, to include Hairspray, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Hair, The Scottsboro Boys) nominated for a number of Olivier Awards), Some Like It Hip Hop (tour), Riverdance (US, European, UK, China tour), Somebody’s Son (Huddersfield and Sheffield), Mary Poppins (tour), Dreamgirls and now preparing to begin rehearsals for “Get Up Stand Up,” (the life of Bod Marley) at the Lyrical, West End), where he will play Bunny Wailer and also the Swing. In addition, he has appeared as a backing dancer for recording artists such as Beverly Knight, Lemar and Kanye West.
Rohan is a huge supporter of RPA and runs dance sessions on his visits home.
